Maharashtra: Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi submits notice in Rajya Sabha

Priyanka Chaturvedi ED Rajya Sabha Shiv Sena Sanjay Raut CBI Upper House (Organization) Income Tax Mumbai

MUMBAI: Following the arrest of Sanjay Raut, Shiv Sena MP in Rajya Sabha Priyanka Chaturvedi on Monday submitted a suspension of business notice in the Upper House alleging "misuse of investigative agencies such as ED, CBI and the Income Tax deparment to silence the opposition."

Chaturvedi gave notice under Rule 267, seeking suspension of listed business of the day to discuss alleged misuse of agencies. She also protested outside Parliament house with a placard.
