Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde pledges Rs 3 lakh for kin of Shiv Sainik who died near Matoshree

MUMBAI: Chief minister Eknath Shinde has come forward to help the family of Shiv Sainik Bhagwan Kale who died near Matoshree after suffering a heart attack. Shinde has accepted the guardianship of Kale's two children and has also pledged Rs 3 lakh as compensation to the family.

Kale was a Sena functionary from Shahpur had visited Matoshree to meet Uddhav Thackeray along with other office bearers, he felt uneasy and left the meeting.

He died on his way to the hospital. He was the only earning member of the family. Besides, supporting the family, Shinde sent his colleagues from Thane Sainath Tare, former MLA Pandurang Barora to the Kale family for immediate assistance of Rs 1 lakh.
