Maha Mumbai Metro extends 2A, 7 operational hours till 10.30pm from Feb 14

MUMBAI: Maha Mumbai Metro has extended the operational hours on the lines 2A & 7 (Andheri west-Dahisar-Gundavli) till 10.30pm from February 14.

Instead of the last train leaving at 10.09pm, two additional services will be introduced on both lines to extend operating hours till 10.30pm.

The two additional service on Line 2 A from Andheri West to Dahisar will be at 10.20pm and 10.30pm respectively. Additional services with similar timings will commence on Line 7 from Gundavli to Dahisar too.

Mumbai Metro Operation Control Corporation Ltd (MMOCL) chairman SVR Srinivas said, "At present, we have 28 Metro rakes which are sufficient to operate both lines. We will observe the commuter’s response to these additional services, and if required we will take a call to increase services during peak hours."
