Magical performance of A Christmas Carol to take over St George's Hall this December

St George’s Hall will welcome the festive production of A Christmas Carol for the third year this December.

Taking over the concert room at the hall, the adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol will stay true to the original, and features an almost cinematic soundscape.

The production will tell the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, played by local actor Ken McDonnell, on his emotional journey and ghostly encounters.

Local actor Liam Scott, who is also co-founder of Ginificent - the company behind the show, will take on multiple roles , from the narrator to the Ghost of Christmas Present.

This will be the third year the show has been at St George's Hall (Ginificent)

Alongside the show there will be music and festive carols performed in the bar area before and after each performance.

The show will run from December 19 - 23 at St George’s Hall, with two performances a day.

Tickets start from £14 and are available now via Eventbrite .
