The Magic struggled from the 3-point line in the half, going 3 of 17, but rode Ross' 15 points (6-of-9 shooting) to stay close. His shooting helped offset the struggles of the starters, who were a combined 9 of 28 (32.1%).
In fact, the Magic bench outscored the starters, 24-23, in the first half.
The Magic continue their homestand on Monday when they take on the Brooklyn Nets. The game tips off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports Florida.
