ORLANDO, Fla. _ Not every shot the San Antonio Spurs took went in. It only seemed that way.
LaMarcus Aldridge scored 20 points and the hot-shooting Spurs rolled to a 129-90 victory over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night at Amway Center.
LaMarcus Aldridge scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures for the Spurs (17-15), who shot 64.9 percent from the field and improved to 6-1 in their past seven games.
Marco Belinelli had 18 points, Bryn Forbes and DeMar DeRozan each had 17 points and Rudy Gay added 14 for the Spurs, whose 129 points are the most allowed by the Magic this season.
D.J. Augustin finished with 17 points to lead the Magic, who played without leading scorer and rebounder Nikola Vucevic. Aaron Gordon, who didn't score until late in the third quarter, and Evan Fournier each had 12 points for Orlando (14-16).
Vucevic missed the game to be with his wife and newborn son, who arrived Monday.
With Vucevic out, Magic rookie Mohamed Bamba got his first NBA start. He finished with seven points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes.
On this night, it didn't matter who the Magic had on the floor. The Spurs hit open shots. They hit contested shots. They hit layups. They hit 3-pointers. And their precision on offense had the Magic reeling.
The Spurs posted point totals of 31, 35 and 38 through the first three quarters and led 104-77. At one point in the third quarter they were shooting at a 70-percent clip.
Even Spurs reserve forward Davis Bertans couldn't miss. He eclipsed his season scoring average of 7.4 points a game with three first-half 3-pointers.
It was that kind of a night for the Spurs.
