The cast of Married At First have feared the worst for the show’s first gay couple – concluding that they have already quit the series and their marriage.
The 2021 series of the explosive dating series introduced 27-year-old Daniel McKee from Northern Ireland and 39-year-old Matt Jameson from West Yorkshire.
The lads barely had time to think before they were sent off to swap vows in front of cameras as contestants on the E4 series.
Viewers have already speculated that the couple might struggle with their 12-year age difference – while sales rep Daniel said he was looking to meet someone who shared his views on meditation and vegetarianism, while charity worker Matt said he had hopes of starting a family with mr right.

But the fellow contestants on the show have been left fearing the boys have already thrown in the towel both on their marriage and their time on the show.
A sneak preview clip of the upcoming new episode shows the other contestants all mingling together for a group dinner – only to suddenly realise Daniel and Matt are noticeably absent.
Drawing attention to the group, 31-year-old Morag Crichton – who married 36-year-old Luke Dawson – exclaims: “Hey! Guys! Guys! One second… Where’s Daniel? And Matt?”

Fellow contestant Tayah Victoria, 25 – who married Adam Aveling – suggested: “I reckon they’ve gone. They’ve left. 100% they’re gone.”
Morag continues: “Where are they? They should’ve been here by now.”
Footage then shows Morag, Luke, Tayah and Adam all speculating on the fate of the male couple.
Luke laments: “I love Matt. And I think a lot of people do. I just hope they turn up. It’s not good news…”
While Morag declares: “Yeah, I loved Daniel so much.”
Adam fears the worst, saying: “I will be gutted if Matt doesn’t come back.”

And Tayah agrees, saying: “Yeah, that would be really upsetting, but my gut is telling me that they’ve walked.”
Before appearing on the show, Daniel said: “Married At First Sight UK is a big experience and quite nerve racking in many ways, however it is something that will allow me to shift my pattern in terms of relationships and it is a blessing to have the professional and scientific advice that will help me.”
While Matt said: “The reason I’ve come onto the show is because I’m really wanting to meet that special person that I can start building a life with and have a family. I’m really excited.”

While it is unclear if the boys have already ended their marriage, they are both conspicuously absent from each others’ social media feeds, with both Matt and Daniel recently sharing selfies of just themselves.
Meanwhile, Matt and Daniel might not be the only couple in trouble as reports have suggested fellow newlyweds Jordon Mundell and Alexis Economou have already ended their marriage – with Jordon reportedly going back to a long-term girlfriend.
Married at First Sight UK airs Monday – Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
