BHOPAL: Once again nothing has been made clear about the future of the playschools. Owners of the playschools said that neither were they assured of any help from the government nor any decision on reopening of the campus has been taken yet.
The playschool owners said that the majority of the schools have closed down permanently and others that are managing to exist may see the same fate in the near future.
The ongoing pandemic has dealt a staggering blow to play schools in Bhopal. Almost 70% have shut down over the last one year and others are finding it difficult to get new admissions in playgroups and nursery schools. With the shutdown of campuses and many parents still working from home, preschools across the state capital are staring at an uncertain future. The Covid scare has forced many parents to put off admissions in playgroups or nursery class with plans to directly admit them in junior KG when things improve.
