Machine Gun Kelly has dodged addressing rumours that he dated Sydney Sweeney, which first surfaced when the pair were spotted partying in May after she split from fiancé Jonathan Davino.
Ever since Sweeney and Davino called off their wedding, the rumour mill has been in overdrive over Euphoria star’s new boo-thang. Naturally, some folks speculated that Sweeney was in cahoots with her Anyone But You co-star Glenn Powell.
However, some fans believed that she could’ve hooked up with Megan Fox‘s ex, Machine Gun Kelly, after they were spotted together at a party.

While it’s been months since the hullabaloo surrounding Sweeney’s love life was at an all-time high — with the star being embroiled in controversy over *that* American Eagle advertisement — Machine Gun Kelly has seemingly set the record straight on that rumour.
During his appearance on Andy Cohen‘s Watch What Happens Live, a fan named Kyle P asked the music artist if he and Sweeney “were more than just friends”.
“Kyle P, shut up, dude,” Kelly fired back.
Unfortunately, for all you gossip fiends, Kelly didn’t elaborate on his answer. But what I will point out, the artist didn’t flat-out say no, he did just tell the fan to “shut up”, which could mean anything!
According to TMZ, sources who claim to be close to the duo say that their connection is just ~platonic~.
While Sweeney and MGK are just buddies, insider sources have claimed that The White Lotus star has been inundated with DMs from athletes and celebs since she split from her fiancé.
Per The Sun, an insider claimed Sweeney has been asked out on dates by footballers from clubs like Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
“Her Instagram DMs are packed with messages from famous men trying to get in contact with her,” the insider claimed, adding that some athletes have offered to fly her out to Europe for dates.
“She’s not the kind of person who does that,” the source continued, adding that the actor “always refuses”, even though keen suitors are “very insistent and have even tried to find her address to send her flowers”.
That being said, I think Sweeney has bigger fish to fry than her love life, like that hot mess of an American Eagle ad that was praised by Donald Trump. Aiyiyi.
