A crash on the M8 has brought traffic to a standstill.
Two vehicles were involved in the smash on the eastbound carriageway at junction four Whitburn at around 7.10am.
The smash through roadworks has blocked lane two of two.
Rush hour commuters are stuck in traffic that's tailed back to Harthill Services.
TRISS and police officers are on the scene.
Traffic Scotland posted on Twitter: "M8 E/B J4 Whitburn through the roadworks.
"Two vehicle road traffic accident blocking lane two of two.
"Traffic heavy on approach back to Harthill Services."
