The M6, M53 and M56 will close over the coming week.
Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, April 24 - Sunday, April 30) as National Highways continue to repair the region's roads. This week there will be one weekend closure on the M56 westbound on Saturday, according to the Highways travel planning website.
Sections of the M6 will also be closed overnight from Monday through until Friday.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week. This list is subject to changes from National Highways.
Monday, April 24
The M6 northbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 24 (Ashton) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions three (Heswall) and five (Hooton) will be closed between 11pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will be closed between 11pm and 5am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Tuesday, April 25
The M6 northbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 21 (Woolston) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M53 northbound between junctions three (Heswall) and five (Hooton) will be closed between 11pm and 5am.
The M53 southbound between junctions two (Upton) and four (Clatterbridge) will be closed between 11pm and 5am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Wednesday, April 26
The M6 northbound between junctions 21 (Woolston) and 23 (Haydock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 26 (Orrell) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.

Thursday, April 27
The M6 northbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 23 (Haydock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 20 (Lymm) and 24 (Ashton) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 westbound between junctions 11 (Preston Brook) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Friday, April 28
The M6 northbound between junctions 22 (Winwick) and 23 (Haydock) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M6 southbound between junctions 21A (Croft) and 21 (Woolston) will be closed between 8pm and 6am.
The M56 eastbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 14 (Elton) will be closed between 9pm and 5am.
Saturday, April 29
The M56 westbound between junctions 12 (Rocksavage) and 15 (Stoak) will be closed between 8pm and 5am.
Sunday, April 30
No scheduled closures.
