M1 lanes blocked due to 'spillage' on carriageway

Two lanes of the M1 motorway are currently blocked due to a spillage on the carriageway.

Motorists travelling in to the city are advised that Lanes 2 and 3 between Junction 3 Blacks Road and Junction 2 Stockman's Lane are currently blocked.

The road is still open however motorists are being urged to slow down on approach and pass with care.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A skip lorry has shed its load on the M1, between the Black's Road junction and King's Road junction.



"Police are in attendance and the debris is currently being cleared."
