M&S is selling the world's first love cucumber - and shoppers are having a field day.
The upmarket shop announced the news this week as scores of people took to social media to discuss the new veg.
One shopper said they thought they were viewing an Anne Summer's post when they first spotted it, reports Manchester Evening News.
Posting on Facebook, M&S shared a picture of the new love cucumber, writing: "You’ve heard of the Love Sausage and now it’s time to try our Love Cucumber! Actually heart-shaped, and a world first, it’s been grown exclusively for M&S - just the thing for adding to your Valentine’s G&T.
"The Love Cucumber is a VERY limited edition and is only in 94 of our biggest stores, so get it while you can! Who will you share your Love Cucumber with this Valentine’s Day? Tag your beloved below. Cheers! In-store today!"
Unsurprisingly, it wasn't long before the comments section began to flood, with many shoppers clearly amused by the idea.
"This is risquè for you M&S," joked one shopper.
Another added: " Oooooeeerrrrrrr M&S. What will my mother say about this."
"Jeez whatever next!!" exclaimed a third.
While someone else wrote: "M&S you have THE BEST sense of humour. I love this idea!"
