And stores are wasting no time stocking up ahead of spring.
Supermarkets are stacked full of Easter eggs and seasonal chocolate, while Marks and Spencer is already selling hot cross buns.
M&S is renowned for its hot cross bun flavours, with the chocolate and salted caramel being a firm favourite in 2019.
This year, M&S has announced they will be selling a savoury number, much to the delight of customers.
Posting on their official Facebook page, M&S unveiled their brand new Chilli and Cheese Hot Cross Bun.
Sharing an image with their five million followers, the retailer wrote: "Hello new flavour alert!
"These are not just hot cross buns… These are NEW Chilli and Cheese Hot Cross Buns.
"Visit us instore to toast the start of the Easter season."
The post racked up thousands of reactions on the social media page, with many having already tried them.
One wrote: "We tried these this morning and they are AMAZING!!!!
"Nice little kick of chilli and nicely cheesy it really works!!!"
Another added: "Mmmm..these are the best, love all the flavours."
While a third wrote: "Brilliant. There weren't any savoury/sweet choices last year so great to see them."
