M&S launches another Valentine day sweet treat people think is rude

This is not just an innuendo, this is a Marks & Spencer innuendo.

M&S shoppers couldn't help but snigger last week when the retail giant launched a new Valentine-friendly Easter egg - in the shape of a chocolate aubergine.

It came hot on the heels of the M&S Valentine love sausage.

While M&S were convince the aubergine was used just because the chocolate is vegan friendly, buyers had other ideas.

One person wrote: "I can see that being a Valentine gift for the [aubergine emoji] fans."

Another said: "Jesus isn’t the only thing that rose again at Easter!"

"It's not April Fools yet M&S! Do you know what the aubergine emoji is used for? Crying," another shopper commented.

And one follower joked: "I wonder if Ann Summers will be selling them as well!"

And now the cheeky High Street retailer has done it again - with its Love Nuts.

The 'Love Nut Yumnut' is a hybrid of the yum yum and doughnut, plastered with smooth white chocolate icing. It will set you back £1.50 at M&S in-store bakeries.

Each is also decorated with pink stripes, freeze-dried raspberries and chocolate hearts for an extra Valentine's Day twist.

The Yumnut became a huge hit with shoppers last March when it launched in M&S bakeries. M&S even released a festive version - 'Santa's Yumnut' - over Christmas, reports The Mirror.

You can buy them for £1.50 each

On Twitter, one user commented: "I really need to get my mind out of the gutter."

While another wrote: "FEEL THE WHAT."

And someone else said: "This is intentional trolling at this point, right? "Ooh, we're M&S, we're so fancy, INSERT OUR LOVE NUTS INTO YOUR MOUTH"

The chain also now sells a £30 Valentine’s Day hamper with its ‘love sausage’ and heart-shaped crumpets.

The romantic bundle also comes with cherry tomatoes on the vine, ground coffee and milk chocolate hearts. Who says lockdown dates can't be magical?
