Lyle Taylor sends Forest star five-word message amid defender speculation

Nottingham Forest striker Lyle Taylor has taken to social media to send teammate Djed Spence a message amid speculation over his future.

The Middlesbrough loanee, Spence, has been enjoying life at the City Ground and has also become a key player for Steve Cooper's side.

After scoring his first goal for the Reds in the 3-0 win over Birmingham City, his contributions in three straight wins against Blues, Bristol City and Blackpool have earned him 'Player of the Month' award for October.

The latest news regarding a potential Boro recall in January has however left fans pleading for his stay.

The Forest striker, Taylor, however has echoed many fans' thoughts after delivering Spence a message on social media.

"Just sign the ting mannnnn," Taylor commented on the youngster's post on Instagram after he shared his 'Player of the Month' achievement.

A fan then replied: "Come on agent Lyle."

Spence is under contract with Boro until the summer of 2023.
