Signing expected
Nottingham Forest are expected to complete the signing of attacker Luke Freeman.
The Sheffield United winger/midfielder was understood to be having a medical with the Reds on Thursday.
And should all go as hoped, he will make the move to the City Ground on a season-long loan deal.
That will make him Forest’s fifth new addition of the summer, and would make it two recruits within the space of a few days, following Fouad Bachirou’s arrival on Wednesday.
Backing Bachirou
New signing Fouad Bachirou is a man with the ability to keep calm under pressure - a quality which should serve him well at Nottingham Forest.
That’s the verdict from Swedish journalist Erik Hadzic, who covers Bachirou’s former club Malmo for TV4.
The midfielder penned a two-year deal with the Reds on Wednesday, for his first taste of English football.
He started out at PSG as a youngster, before heading to Scottish side Greenock Morton and then to Sweden, first with Ostersunds and then Malmo.

Transfer talk
Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign David Tavares from Benfica.
The midfielder has been extensively linked with a move to the City Ground along with his team-mate Jota.
A move for the latter is not in the offing but according to Portuguese newspaper Record, Tavares is set to agree a move to Forest within days.
Tavares doesn't appear to be in Benfica boss Jorge Jesus' plans this season and appears to be on the way out of the Estadio da Luz.
Team bonding
A strong team spirit and sense of unity stood out at Nottingham Forest in their first season under Sabri Lamouchi.
And the Frenchman is clearly keen to keep that going in a campaign he hopes will this time finish with promotion.
The Reds are currently based at Loughborough University as part of their pre-season preparations.
