A Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner was involved in a dramatic incident at Frankfurt Airport on Thursday after the aircraft appeared to sink onto its belly while parked near a gate at Terminal 1.

Images and videos shared on social media showed the aircraft resting nose-down near the terminal, prompting a large emergency response. Airport operator Fraport and Lufthansa later confirmed that an incident had taken place.
