Lucy Mecklenburgh was left mortified after her 14-month-old son Roman cried non-stop on a “horrendous” train journey to Manchester.
The former TOWIE star, 29, who shares the youngster with fiancé Ryan Thomas, revealed details of the stressful trip on Instagram.
Lucy explained she had taken Roman on the two-hour journey from London to Manchester, but had faced every parents’ worst nightmare – a screaming child who can’t be soothed.
She shared a video of the tot sat on her lap chewing a toy train, and told her followers that Roman’s innocent expression couldn’t have been further from the truth.
"On the way to Manchester he cried 1 hour 30 minutes of a two-hour journey… It was horrendous! And really embarrassing,” Lucy confessed.

She asked her followers for some moral support as she prepared to go back on the train to London for the return journey with Roman.
“Now time to go back to London, wish me luck!!!" she wrote.
She updated her fans with another video of Roman enjoying the train ride, and she revealed this time, she’d come prepared.
“We have snacks, teethers, toys and books,” she added alongside the clip of her son adorably trying to eat vegetable crisps on the table.
A relieved Lucy then shared a sweet snap of Roman in his pushchair, and she said they had both managed to survive the journey without a single tantrum.
"It was pretty painless!! One taxi and train to go,” Lucy wrote on a video of the youngster laughing sweetly.
Lucy welcomed her first child with Ryan in March last year, just weeks before the country went into lockdown.

Despite the ongoing restrictions, the couple managed to celebrate Roman’s first birthday in style earlier this year, and shared snaps of the intimate bash on Instagram, which was teddy bear themed.
“How is my baby boy 1,” she wrote alongside snaps of the tot clapping his hands in front of a stylish display of balloons and flowers.
Ryan is also dad to Scarlett, 12, who he shares with ex-wife Tina O'Brien.
The former Coronation Street star recently revealed that Lucy’s pregnancy wasn’t planned, as he tried to reassure his younger brother Scott that there was “never a right time” to start a family.
The former Love Island star had discussed fatherhood during an episode of the Mancs On The Mic podcast, which he hosts with brother Adam Thomas, prompting Ryan to make the surprising confession.
"None of my children were planned. So there's never a right time bro, I don't think you should worry about that."
“Bro, just enjoy it, take your time and don't worry about the future, just enjoy the journey for now,” Ryan shared.
