LUCKNOW: Lucknow University undergraduate first semester examination began on Tuesday. Only 1% of students of LU and affiliated colleges in Lucknow, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri and Rae Barelli missed the examination.
The examination of BA Hons in French, Pali and other languages was held. In the first shift of the examination as many as 3,420 students appeared while 70 were absent. In the second shift, as many as 6,875 students wrote the paper while 79 students gave it a miss. “Examination was held peacefully at all centres. Not a single case of unfair means was reported ,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
