LUCKNOW: Lucknow University is likely to conduct its undergraduate entrance test for professional and non-professional courses in the first week of August. Around 80 LU affiliated colleges in Lucknow, Lakhimpur Kheri, Hardoi, Rae Bareli and Sitapur districts will be admitting students in UG courses through LU entrance tests.
The university authorities have requested candidates to fill in the mobile numbers and email id in use by the respective candidate as all admission-related alerts will be sent on the same number. “During the form filling process, the applicant can make the entries and save the information. If the applicant is unable to fill the form in one sitting or somehow the process is interrupted there is no need to register again. They can login using the credentials sent on their mobile numbers and continue the process,” said an admission official.
He said that it is important that the candidate enter their own mobile number. A date-wise admission schedule will be declared in the third week of July and the entrance test is likely to be held in August first week. The test for at least two UG courses will be held in a single day, he added.
While the university will be conducting an Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) for admission to BA, BSc, BCom and other nonprofessional courses, for professional courses like BBA, BBA (IB), BBA (MS), BBA (Tourism) and BCA programme, it will conduct Under Graduate Professional Entrance Test (UGPET) 2022.
“The entrance test will be on a multiple choice question-based pattern in which 100 questions will have to be answered by a candidate. Each question will be of two marks and there will be no negative marking,” said LU spokesperson Durgesh Srivastava.
