Lucknow: KGMU sets up desk for OPD appointment

LUCKNOW: After TOI highlighted the problems faced in OPD regarding appointment and meeting consultants, KGMU administration on Monday put up a signboard for the patients coming to the OPD without an online appointment.

“Now patients without appointments don’t have to wander. They could easily be able to seek help from on-spot appointment kiosks,” said Dr Sudhir Singh, spokesperson KGMU.

He further said that around 800 patients are given on-spot appointments daily. Besides, they are trying to give appointments to every patient.

Soon the daily limit will be increased to accommodate more. However, it is advised that patients come with an appointment. Patients can book appointments for OPD in KGMU by logging in on www.ors.gov.in, calling on 0522-2258880, sending APPOINTMENT sms on 8887019134.
