Lucas Moura outlines what Tottenham must do next to turn around their form

Tottenham forward Lucas Moura has said that the club must stick together in order to get out of the rut that they currently find themselves in.

The midweek loss against Bayern Munich was followed by a poor performance against Brighton and Hove Albion, resulting in the Seagulls recording a 3-0 win, ending a streak of eight home league games without a victory in spectacular style.

The result has put more pressure on both the Spurs squad, who have now not won in their last 10 away Premier League games, and manager Mauricio Pochettino, with speculation over his future only intensifying.

But, Moura has insisted that the way to turn around the form is for the players to get their heads down and work hard.

"It's a really difficult moment for us," he said following the game.

But we need to stay together, work harder, not speak too much and work."

Pochettino on his future at Spurs

The international break means that there is now a two-week break from Premier League action, and Spurs boss Pochettino hopes that the break will help the club to come back stronger.

"You never know when you arrive in the moments, sometimes you are in a good dynamic and the international break arrives and it changes completely after two weeks," he said after the game.

"I hope that it helps us to change the air, change the dynamic or energy. It is still so early in the season, we have the belief, it is so strong the belief."
