Lucas Digne admits surprise over new Everton song and opens up on Bernard partnership

Lucas Digne has admitted he was treated to a nice surprise when hearing his new Everton song.

The left back has been in brilliant form since making a switch from Barcelona in the summer, with many claiming the French international has been the club's player of the season across 2018/19 so far.

And the fans have rewarded those performances with a new song - which was debuted before the Blues' match against Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.

Despite the disappointing result in west London, the left back was delighted to hear his new song - and praised the supporters for making him feel welcome at Everton .

The last few weeks in particular have seen Digne strike up a significant partnership with Bernard down the left flank.

Supporters have praised both for the performances they have put in across that time, and the full back has opened up on why their relationship is starting to flourish.
