LUCKNOW: Law students of Lucknow University staged a protest in front of the dean law office at the University’s second campus on Monday.
Claiming that around 40% of students have failed in LLB (Hons) seventh semester, results of which were declared on Saturday, students demanded re-evaluation of answer copies. “e request for re-evaluation of the answer copies as a very strict marking has been done,” said a Law student Ashish Gupta. “ Students have been awarded very few marks in land law and local law paper, law of taxation and optional law,” said another law student. Meanwhile University officials said that they will look into the issue and find out whether students’ claims are legitimate or not.
