Love Island will return to our screens on January 12, it has been confirmed.
Organisers tweeted the news this morning, to the delight of fans.
They said:"Inflatables at the ready... we’re back on January 12th!"
The news comes just days after host Caroline Flack stepped down from the series.
Flack, 40, has been charged with assaulting her boyfriend, 27, after reports of a fight breaking out between them at her London home led to her arrest in the early hours of Friday.
Love Island voice over man Iain Stirling's girlfriend Laura Whitmore will step into her stilettos for the sun-soaked series.
The Irish TV star, 34, is now set to become not only the host of hit ITV2 dating but also as the co-host of the its spin-off series Aftersun.
The blonde beauty will reportedly co-host Aftersun with her boyfriend and popular Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling as they take over Caroline's previous roles and commitments.
A source exclusively revealed the news about Laura's role to Mirror Online today, saying: "Laura will replace Caroline. The deal is nearly finalised."
Reports suggest the arrangement with Laura will be seen as short-term cover for Caroline and "keeping her seat warm" while she deals with her personal issues.
