As Winter Love Island began its highly anticipated first series on Sunday, Lewis Capaldi's ex girlfriend Paige Turley ended up lumbered with controversial trophy hunter Ollie Williams.
And viewers are convinced Paige is desperate to uncouple from Ollie, who she tried to ditch straight away.
They were coupled up together by default after no one stepped forward for Ollie, and he chose Paige.
But Paige took the opportunity to try to uncouple from him as she stepped forward for Connor Durman in an attempt to recouple.
But Connor chose Sophie Piper, meaning Paige was stuck with Ollie.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their mirth at the awkward situation.
"Paige just wants to get away from Ollie #LoveIsland " said one.
"Paige looks so uncomfortable with Ollie I can’t" observed another.
"Paige stepping forward at the first opportunity to get away from Ollie is the content I like to see" joked a third.
Ollie's appearance on the show has already been shrouded in controversy as the public were furious to find out he was an avid trophy hunter.
Millionaire Ollie has several pictures beaming next to the carcasses of the dead animals he killed, including a warthog and a water buffalo.
He also killed a giant eland, a species of antelope which is listed as vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
He used the proud photos next to the dead animals to promote his hunting business.
A source close to Ollie claimed he was only killing sick, weak animals which needed culling.
The insider told the Mirror: "Ollie is a passionate conservationist and worked with an anti-poaching unit in Mozambique.
"Conservation is crucial to the survival of animals and as part of that work Ollie was involved in the culling of sick animals who were a threat to the health of the herd.
"There is a very big and important difference between trophy hunting and the conversation work Ollie has previously been involved in.
"At no point has Ollie organised or booked anybody to go to Africa to shoot game."
Ollie's already drawn attention to himself with his champagne-fuelled lifestyle and jet-setting ways.
He joked that his old man had threatened to cut him out of his will if he followed through with his plans to head into the villa.
His dad Andrew is the Lord of the Manor of Lanhydrock in Cornwall - removing Ollie from his will would have cost the 23 year old an estimated £15.8 million.
Meanwhile, Paige was already known in the public eye for dating Lewis Capaldi, and rumour has it he wrote his number one heartbreak hit Someone You Loved about her.
In her introductory VT, Paige said: "According to the papers, they think the song was about me.
"If that's the case, then Lewis I am so sorry!" she joked.
