Love Island star's girlfriend pregnant with first baby as co-stars react

Love Island star Biggs Chris has excitedly revealed he is to become a first time dad, as he announced girlfriend Sumerica's pregnancy.

The former ITV2 star shared the happy news on Instagram with a very sweet reveal video.

The clip documented Biggs and Sumerica's journey so far from the moment they found out she was pregnant to their first scan.

Sumerica was seen breaking down in tears as she looked at the 'positive' test kit.

In the next scene, the mum-to-be surprised Biggs with a box of tests and recorded his reaction as he took in the news.

Sharing the intimate look at their pregnancy with his followers , the reality star wrote: "We've been keeping our little blessing secret."

Biggs, who starred on the first winter Love Island in 2020, was then congratulated by former stars of the show.

Luke Mabbott posted: "Me and Lucie are so happy for you guys. You're going to be amazing parents!!"

While Callum Jones said: "Congrats my man."

Before finding love with Sumerica, Biggs dated his former Love Island girlfriend Rebecca Gromley.

The pair, who were both bombshells on the original South Africa series, got together after meeting in the villa and continued to date for nearly two years after.

Geordie model Rebecca revealed they had split in August 2021 after fans noticed they'd stopped sharing loved-up snaps.

Biggs then told the Sun he'd left the relationship as Rebecca is a 'party girl' and he wanted to focus on his family and work.

Both Biggs and Rebecca found fame on the sixth series of Love Island, where the villa was relocated to South Africa to allow producers to film two shows in one year.

It was also Laura Whitmore's first series as host as she took over from Caroline Flack.

The series was eventually won by Finley Tapp and Paige Turley, who shocked their fans by announcing they'd split last month.

Plans for a second series in 2020 came to a grinding halt when the Covid pandemic broke out in March.

Instead the show returned for its next summer series in 2021, which was won by Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

The pair also split after winning but have since reconciled.
