Love Island star Laura Anderson returns to Scotland after split from partner Dane

Scottish Love Island star Laura Anderson has returned to her home town of Stirling, following her split from long-term partner Dane Bowers.

The television personality took to her social media accounts to announce the split and her return to the UK after being in Dubai since 2018. Laura and Dane first got together four years ago, and she had relocated to Dubai to live with him and they had even recently begun fertility treatment to start a family.

However, at the end of July 2022, Laura posted on Instagram to her 1.4 million followers, letting them know that the couple were no longer together. Laura wrote: "Just to let all my beautiful support on here know that unfortunately Dane and I have decided to separate.

"Thank you for all your continued support. Sadly we're just not right for each other but I do wish him nothing but love. I will be moving back to the UK as soon as I can. Roll on the rest of 2022, let's make it count."

The 33-year-old is now back living in Scotland, and is currently awaiting the arrival of her puppy. The star posted a cute photo of her pet with their 'pawsport', as the animal is transported from Dubai to Scotland.

Laura wrote on her Instagram story: "You've all asked how I'm transporting buddy home safely. I don't want to get emotional but @sandypawsllc you really are incredible.

"To Dubai last year and now back home to Scotland. I appreciate your support more than you know. Anum in particular you superstar. He has his passport! Thank you sis."

Laura also confirmed that she had been on the TV roundabout again, filming alongside Anna Williamson and Tom Read Wilson for Celebs Go Dating. The star was pictured chatting to a singleton while on the show.
