A Love Island star has revealed that her £1,000 Louis Vuitton handbag was stolen off her shoulder while on a day out in central London.
Lauren Wood, 27, appeared on Series 12 of the show last year, and took to TikTok to explain how the designer bag went missing.
The reality star was enjoying a day out with friends, going shopping at Selfridges before heading to an event at The Londoner Hotel, but panicked when she realised the bag had disappeared after arriving at the venue.
Wood shared details of her ordeal to her 272,000 followers online, in a post captioned: “PROTECT YOUR BELONGINGS AT ALL COSTS!!”

She said: “Decided we’re going to get a little cocktail on the balcony at the back. As I sat down, I looked at my friend in a sheer state of panic, I couldn’t believe it, I was feeling around.
“I literally sat and realised my bag was not on my shoulder. I immediately start looking around the gifting suite, ‘did I put it on a rail?’, or what I’ve done with it.
“Staff were looking for it, security were looking for it. We asked them to look at the cameras because there might be footage of me in here coming in with it, and then it’s probably safe.”
However, Wood was stunned when she discovered the bag had gone missing before her arrival at the hotel.

She said: “Five minutes later the guy comes back, he’s been to look at the CCTV cameras and he’s said to me ‘you did not walk into the hotel with an LV bag’.
“I then realised it must have got stolen on the tube or taken off of my arm on Leicester Square.”
“If there’s one thing I’ve learnt, is to keep your stuff safe when you’re in central London, keep it so secure on you. Keep hold of your phones, keep your phones in your bag.”
Wood has since contacted Transport for London in a bid to track down the missing bag.
Wood coupled up with Harrison Solomon during her time on Love Island, and dated him for three months after leaving the villa, but she claims she was blindsided by his return to Love Island: All Stars earlier this year despite telling her he wouldn’t.

She told The Sun that they had been speaking daily despite their split before he suddenly went off grid to join the show.
Wood said: “It wasn’t until I rang him because I’d not heard from him all day, which is unheard of, and I heard the dial tone and my heart sank because I was like… surely not.”
Lauren then decided to cut all ties with Solomon, who called her a “liar” and accused her of “twisting things.”
