Love Island's Tanyel dumped from villa after brutal recoupling

Tanyel Revan was the the latest Islander to leave the villa after a brutal dumping.

In tonight's episode of Love Island it was down to the boys to select who they would like to couple up with and the last girl standing would be sent packing.

The shock dumping comes ahead of the infamous Casa Amor which will really put the current relationships to the test.

Currently, in the villa, the only solid couples are Jessie and Will and Tanya and Shaq so no one was surprised when they coupled up in tonight's episode, however the other Islanders had tough decisions to make.

Prior to tonight's episode, Lana and Casey were together but Ron selected her after they decided to give things another go.

Ron was with Tanyel in a friendship couple whilst Ellie and Jordan were together and Tom was with Samie, and Olivia with Kai. The arrival of bombshell Claudia Fogarty shook things up slightly with her showing interest in both Casey and Tom.

However after the recoupling, things have changed.

Tom was up first and opted to couple up with Samie, whilst Shaq told the Islanders he was the "luckiest man in the world" and wanted to remain with Tanya.

Many were convinced there was a spark between Tanyel and Ron (ITV)

Ron was delighted to finally couple up with Lana whilst Casey chose Claudia. Kai chose Olivia, and of course Will picked Jessie.

Jordan was last to make his decision, his choice was between Ellie and Tanyel and it was Ellie who was saved, meaning Tanyel had to leave the villa.

Speaking to ITV after her exit, Tanyel said she had no regrets.

She said: "Going into the fire pit, I just had a weird feeling that I was going to be leaving the Villa. I like Jordan as a person, but I knew that if he had chosen to couple up with me, I’d have been forcing it. I knew there was no spark.

"I’m so glad I did it. I have no regrets. It’s made me realise how direct and honest I am. If I’ve got an issue, I’ll just say it straight."
