Winter Love Island star Sophie Piper has opened up about her difficult relationship with her sister Rochelle Humes.
The 21-year-old didn't know her famous sister growing up but they reunited two years ago when they were reintroduced by mutual friend, Love Island 2017 winner Kem Cetinay.
Sophie told MailOnline : "There was a period where we weren't in contact. It was weird growing up not knowing Rochelle but since we have spoken we speak every day so it is nice all of us being in each other's lives now.
"My middle sister Lili went to school with Kem so that's how we know him. Obviously he was at the same school as me. It's funny how it's all linked together."
Rochelle was just three when Jamaican-born Mark Piper abandoned the Saturdays star and her paramedic mum Roz Wiseman.
Mark fathered a further three children Lili, 24, Sophie and Jake, 23, with a new partner.
But the sisters are all close now and Rochelle has even offered Sophie advice before the show starts this Sunday, especially about the trolling that she might receive.
Sophie explained: "She said 'just deal with it, we are always here to help, ignore any negative people, there's always people with one follower on Instagram so ignore them!
"Just brush it off your shoulders, don't take negative comments too seriously.'"
Rochelle also posted about the news her sister would be going into the villa online.
"Good luck baby sis," the mum of two wrote, "Bring us back a keeper."
Rochelle's husband Marvin chimed in: "Is this how far @rochellehumes will go to make me watch Love Island?! Good luck Soph x."
