Shannon Singh, one of the latest contestants to go on Love Island, already has a TV and movie star as her biggest fan.
The 22 year old has been sharing sexy snaps on Instagram and Only Fans for the past two years, and she’s attracted the attention of Mehcad Brooks.
He’s an American actor and underwear model who starred in Desperate Housewives and is in the latest Mortal Kombat film.
In one raunchy online picture, Shannon is wearing saucy lingerie and captioned the image: “Approved for date night?”
Mehcad was one of the people who responded, writing flirtaciously: “If this doesn’t work for date night, he don’t like women.”
The Love Island hopeful comes from Fife, Scotland, and her dad has Indian heritage. It seems that taking your clothes off for a living runs in the family, as Shannon's father used to work as a stripper.
She recalled: “I think it is absolute jokes. I love it.
“When me and my brother were younger he used to have a silver Honda Civic. He had ‘Sweet Cheeks’ and pink writing with kisses all over the car to advertise his stripping.”
At the time she said she didn’t understand what was happening, and it was only when she got older that she understand that this wasn’t an ordinary job
“We were probably 10 years old when we clocked on that something was different,” she continued.
“When we got to secondary school people were like, ‘Your dad did my mum’s hen do.’ I was like, ‘Great’.”
Shannon’s mum was happy with the arrangement, too.
“My mum fully supported my dad when he was stripping,” she added. “An Indian, guy stripper – you don’t see it.”
Her mum also encouraged her daughter to go into modelling. Shannon continued: “ My mum told me I should do glamour and Page Three.
“She took the topless photos of me and we sent them to a London agency and I got signed within 11 minutes,” she remembered.
“My dad drove me to London and I did the test shoot and was signed. And here we are.”
Shannon reveals that parading around in a bikini in the Love Island villa won’t be a problem for her.
“I have always been confident, boobs are just boobs,” she said. “I am probably being judged so much but my mum and dad have never had an issue about anything.”
