Love Island's Paige and Finn tease reality TV return after Celeb Coach Trip

Scots Love Island winner Paige Turley and Finley Tapp have teased their return to reality TV after Celebrity Coach Trip.

This week fans have seen the couple make their first joint appearance on the box since they won they won the ITV show at the beginning of 2020.

Paige, from West Lothian, and Finn joined the celebrity coach in Portugal after they had been holidaying in Cyprus, and admitted that the major attraction of this series was being able to take part in it together.

The duo exclusively told The Mirror that fans may be seeing them on screens again within the year.

Finn said: “I think doing Coach Trip was a nice show to do and it certainly opened up our eyes to potentially doing more reality stuff.

“I would say that it's perhaps something that fans might be able to see us do within the year.”

Finn and Paige joined the E4 cast partway through the series and were welcomed onto the coach by “lovely” tour guide Brendan Sheerin.

Finn said: “We were so excited to meet him because obviously we've seen Coach Trip before and clips on YouTube and he just seems such a laugh.

“He was exactly what we expected when we met him - full of beans and a good laugh.”

The Love Island alums had to find their footing amidst the “brutal” voting process, as friendships had already been made on the coach.

Paige said: “We eased into the group really quickly and everybody was so nice. I think a lot of people had forgotten that you had to vote people off until the time came to it.”

The 24-year-old said there was a degree of “voting tactics”, as the original cast tried to keep each other on the coach, but Finn said this was understandable.

He added: “If you took all the votes to heart, you wouldn't enjoy the experience for what it was.

“We just tried to enjoy the days as best as possible.”

Paige said: “You're having such a good time and there's people that you would never necessarily meet, so it just felt really brutal voting somebody off.

“We got lucky we had such a great coach of people, so we never had any real reasons to vote for anybody. It was like making up excuses every night.”

Finn added: “You would have preferred someone to annoy you so you had a reason to vote them out.”

The close-knit cast of the E4 show, which also included actors Linda Robson and Lesley Joseph as well as Geordie Shore stars Sophie Kasaei and James Tindale, have stayed in touch since filming the series last year.

The cast are all in a group chat, which Finn said is most active when Celebrity Coach Trip is airing at 8pm on weekdays.
