Love Island's Claudia had to refilm iconic entrance FOUR times after wardrobe malfunction

Love Island star Claudia Fogarty has confessed she had to re-film her iconic villa entrance no fewer than four times after a clothing malfunction.

She looked back on her memorable arrival this weekend and came clean - it wasn't all as perfect as it looked!

The 28-year-old first announced herself in South Africa during a challenge that was designed to get pulses racing.

It involved her sporting nothing but red lingerie and a pair of red feather wings, but that's where he problems started.

When she was introduced to her fellow contestants for the first time, it wasn't actually the first time!

Her grand arrival looked totally flawless on our screens, but Claudia revealed that it was far from an unblemished entrance.

It was especially nerve-wracking as she initially hadn’t even wanted to take part in the challenge at all.

The wardrobe issues soon sending her anxiety skyrocketing and speaking on the Learning As I Go podcast, Claudia told show host Scott Thomas all about it.

"I had to do it four times because the wings fell off,” she laughed.

“The one thing I did not want to do, was walk in on that challenge,” she admitted.

“As said to my mum before I went in, please, I hope they don’t do this to me. And that morning, I was like ‘What do I need to wear?’ And they said, ‘oh don’t worry, we’ve got your outfit sorted’ so I knew what that meant and what I was doing.”

Claudia continued: “So I came out in this Ann Summers lingerie, with these wings and it’s like, are you having a laugh?”

“Ask me a few years ago, and I would never in a million years have done anything like that. And even in that moment, I was like, I can’t do it.

“But you’re so boosted up, you’re fine, you can do it, the music helps and everyone was cheering. I just went for it.”

With the adrenaline pumping and the ongoing support from her fellow contestants, Claudia successfully managed to make her entrance in style, with many fans even arguing it was the best entrance in Love Island history.

“I did feel powerful when I did it,” the Islander admitted.

“It was an icebreaker! You’ve already done the most intense, awkward moment so after that I felt fine.”
