Love Island's Anna-May admits embarrassing night out story which resulted in buying her parents a new hoover

In the first episode of Love Island: Unseen Bits of the new 2023 Winter Love Island series viewers heard an embarrassing drinking story from Anna-May Robey. The 20-year-old is the show's youngest Islander and is from Swansea.

While speaking to Kai Fagan Anna-May admitted she is normally the one in her friendship group who "takes it too far" and ends up being sick at the end of a night out. She told him that once she had to buy her parents a new hoover after she broke their hoover trying to hoover up her sick after a night out.

Anna-May said: "Back home when I'm with the girls I can still be a bit wild...I'm a bit of a bad influence...it is always me who takes it too far and then I'm the one spewing." She added: "I had to buy my parents a new hoover for Christmas because I was sick when I came home and I hoovered it up."

The Welsh beauty admitted that her parents were not impressed. She said: "My dad was fuming about that...I don't know what I was thinking to be honest, I just woke up with my dad shouting at me the next day 'What have you done to the hoover?!"

Anna-May also said she had to pick her sick out of the hoover with her fingers. Recently viewers have not been impressed that Anna-May seems to be getting less air time than the other Islanders.

Anna-May, who describes herself as "energetic" and a "chatterbox", joined the show to find a boyfriend who can make her laugh. Prior to her debut, she explained: "I've been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, 'You need to find a boyfriend.' I'm just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone."

Love Island airs every weeknight and Sundays on ITV2 at 9pm.
