Love Island's Amy says producers 'force fed' her when she lost 6lb over Curtis stress

Love Island 's Amy Hart says she was so devastated by Curtis Pritchard's brutal dumping that she lost weight and producers had to force-feed her.

The air hostess was seen announcing to her fellow Islanders last night that she'd be leaving the villa.

She'd sat Curtis down and told him that neither of them could move on from their four-week romance if they remained under the same roof.

After arriving home, she's revealed the true extent of her heartbreak.

Amy says she was so stressed by what was going on that she couldn't eat and lost six pounds in weight.

She says that bosses on the show had to step in and force her to eat after noticing she'd lost weight.

The 26-year-old told The Sun : "I felt so numb. I didn’t feel hungry.

"When I wouldn’t eat, they would stand over me and make me eat a bowl of food or I couldn’t do the challenges."

Amy says she left the show for the sake of her mental health and chose her "sanity" over remaining in the villa.

She said: "I was in a very horrible place over the last week, to be told that the gloves were off with Maura and I had to ‘brace myself’, like a storm. I knew I had to leave when I did."

Amy said she'd be "kidding herself" if she thought she could handle watching Curtis cracking on with Maura.

The blonde beauty also says was "grieving" the loss of her first love and that she found it too hard to stay in a house with him where one of her "alleged friends" was showing interest in him.
