Love Island's Amy Hart trolled for meeting wedding planners before even getting engaged

Amy Hart has hit out at fans who've mocked her for meeting wedding planners - despite not being engaged.

The Love Island star, 30, is currently in Spain with her boyfriend Sam Rason and asked her followers whether anyone knew of any wedding planners in the Marbella, Malaga or La Cala area.

Amy was quick to point out she wasn't yet engaged, telling fans they hadn't missed anything - however, she was subsequently trolled on Instagram.

"Why are you looking at wedding venues if you aren't even engaged?," one fan asked.

While another suggested over-egging the pudding would spoil the excitement when the proposal happens for real.

Taking to her Stories, Amy said: "Wow people are triggered!

"We're out there for two weeks and need to work out if it's viable to do it in Spain. We know we wanna get married and when, we won't be back out there in time to secure somewhere good if we wait.

"I was 28 when I met Sam and he was 33. By the third or fourth date we knew if it was worth pursuing.

"We know 're gonna get married, we're in Spain and won't be back until next September. You need to strike while the iron's hot."

Amy then added: "One more thing. It was actually Sam who said we should look at venues while we're here so before people think I'm a nutter dragging him down the aisle - it was actually his idea!"

The former air stewardess is eagerly awaiting the moment her boyfriend proposes to her and says she keeps dropping huge hints.

Amy went public with her romance with Sam last year and is keen to tie the knot with the tech entrepreneur.

However, she insists she wants a traditional proposal and is prepared to wait for one.

The bubbly blonde shot to fame on series five of Love Island before quitting after being left heartbroken by then-partner Curtis Pritchard.

Thankfully, Amy now appears to have found the love of her life in 'nice man' Sam.

Speaking to Mail Online, the star admitted she was eager for a ring on her finger, saying: "It's up to Sam. I've got to wait for him to propose. My hints haven't even been subtle. We've been together like 15 months.

"It will happen in good time, he's a very nice man, I'm very very lucky."
