Love Island's Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea finding it 'difficult' to make relationship work

It's been just weeks since Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were crowned the winners of Love Island 2019.

But the pair's relationship has been rocked by split rumours since the moment they left the villa.

And it's now been revealed that while the pair are still together, they're finding it "difficult" to make it work because of distance.

Greg lives in Ireland while Amber splits her time between her native Newcastle and London for the work that's been flooding in since they won the show.

A source told the MailOnline : "It has been difficult for them both doing long distance but they’re much together and Amber is really looking forward to seeing Greg again and spending time with him in Ireland."

The insider said the couple haven't been pictured together for weeks because they haven't been able to spend as much time together as they'd like.

They added: "Greg lives in Ireland and is concentrating on his rugby career – but they're still in constant communication and are counting down the days until they're reunited this weekend.

"Amber flies to Ireland Friday evening. Fans don't have long to wait until they're together again."

Love Island's Amber mobbed in the street

Amber and Greg were a fairly new couple when they scooped the £50,000 prize and winning the Love Island title.

They had garnered the votes of the UK after Amber took viewers on a gut-wrenching journey with her heartache on the show.

The feisty star had her heart broken by fellow islander Micheal Griffiths when he had his head turned in Casa Amor.

But Amber moved on with Greg when he burst into the villa at the late stage.

This week Amber posted a photo of the two of them on holiday as she pined for him in the caption.

She said "Miss ya" in the caption as the duo posed on the top deck of a boat.
