Love Island location Majorca has been placed back on the amber travel list, meaning that contestants will have to quarantine when they jet back to the UK.
Just weeks after the Balearic islands were added to the green watchlist, a surge in cases has forced the government to swiftly move the islands back to the amber list again.
It means that British travellers will now have to self-isolate for 10 days upon their return to the UK.
Despite new proposals suggesting that fully vaccinated Brits won't need to self-isolate from amber list countries, it means that young people who have only had one jab or are yet to receive one still have to quarantine.
Secretary of State for Transport Grant Shapps took to Twitter on Wednesday to confirm the news.

"From 4.00am Monday 19th July Bulgaria & Hong Kong will be added to the green list and Croatia & Taiwan the green watchlist of destinations," he posted.
"Please check latest travel advice before you travel as countries and territories may have extra requirements before you get there.
"We’re also moving the Balearic Islands & British Virgin Islands to the amber list - previously on the green watchlist.

Also, from 19/07 if you’re fully #Vaccinated in the UK you can return to England from amber countries and territories without needing to quarantine," he continued.
"Four countries and territories will join the red list to safeguard our domestic vaccine rollout. We’ll keep these measures under review and be guided by the latest data - we won’t hesitate to take action if needed to protect public health," the MP added.
The remaining Love Island contestants will probably have to isolate as it's highly unlikely that they would have had both of their Covid vaccinations.
Mr Shapps defended the government's traffic light system, saying that the categories mean "people can see, broadly-speaking, where these countries are classified".
He added: "We're not in control of this virus, particularly in how it affects other counties, their levels of vaccinations, their level of genomic sequencing, their testing regimes."
The Mirror has contacted an ITV representative asking for comment.
Love Island continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2.
