Love Island has seen another couple dumped from the villa, with Danny and Jourdan booted out after receiving the lowest number of public votes.
In a drama-filled episode, the first of two couples to be dumped from the Island this week was revealed, along with the revelation that the contestants will have to choose whether to dump Lucie and George, or Amy and Curtis – who are technically still a couple despite breaking up last week.
Also in tonight's episode, Tommy asked Molly-Mae to be his girlfriend (she said yes) and told her he *thinks he's in love with her, while Amy and Maura had a showdown after Maura admits her feelings for Amy's ex (and first love) Curtis.
Here are the biggest talking points from the latest episode of Love Island:
Anna turned 29
Apparently this makes her "an official cougar". Anna received plenty of attention from her fellow Islanders, although it's unlikely she appreciated the comment about her being older than her on-then-off-then-on-again beau, Jordan. She was probably still riding the high of Jordan cooking her a love-heart omelette, though.
Amy finally confronted Maura about her flirtation with Curtis
After watching Maura crack on with her former flame, Amy had clearly had enough. She asked Maura why she was pursuing a relationship with the professional dancer a mere three days after he had broken Amy's heart. Maura didn't seem to have a reason other than she fancied Curtis, but later told him that she felt more comfortable pursuing him than if it had been another boy, because she's not as close with Amy as the other girls. Seems legit?
Tommy asked Molly-Mae to make it official
In one of the sweeter moments of the series so far, Tommy went to lengths to write Molly-Mae a love letter asking her to be his official girlfriend. Love Island gets a lot of flack for showcasing examples of toxic male behaviour, but watching Tommy be so open about his feelings was rather endearing. And Molly-Mae looked genuinely delighted (and said yes, of course).
There were goats
This was probably the weirdest date on Love Island, at least in this series. Anton, who until recently had been languishing as the only perpetually single man on the Island, went on his first date with Belle where they were asked to milk some goats to make cheese. Apparently it's what all the kids are doing nowadays.
Jourdan and Danny got dumped
While fans had speculated that this couple's dwindling time on screen was a sign they were about to get booted off the show, it was still a shock (and quite a disappointment) to learn we'd be saying goodbye to them. Another couple will be dumped by the Islanders in tomorrow night's episode.
