Love Island Liam's 'real age' baffles fans as Millie panics about age gap

Love Island viewers after left stunned when they discovered contestant Liam Reardon's 'real age'.

During Monday's instalment of the hit ITV dating show, the bricklayer from Wales was seen chatting with 24-year-old Millie Court after he chose her to be his girl in the latest recoupling.

But Millie admitted she was worried about the age gap between the pair.

Liam asks her: "Are you happy?”

Millie replies: "Yeah of course I am. Are you?”

She adds: "Do you think there is a difference because of our age gap?”

Liam says: "No. Do you?"

Being upfront with him, she responds: "Just a little bit. I don’t really know what it is. Maybe I’m overthinking it. You are wanting a proper relationship, right?"

Liam says: "That’s what I’m here for."

Following the conversation, fans researched how old he was, and were left stunned to find out he was 21.

Many viewers took to Twitter to comment on the revelation, as one person said: "The next bombshell should be Liam revealing his actual age."

Another wrote: "Liam is absolutely not 21 years of age. I’m gonna need to see his birth certificate."

A third said: "I think Liam is lying about his age he looks 31."

But someone else said: "I just looked up Liam’s age after this chat (I had forgotten it) but he is so clearly 21," while another viewer agreed: "Liam looks about 35 but defo acts his age, maybe even younger."

This comes as the pair discussed their future together outside the villa.

"I'd like to see you come home in your work gear," Millie told him as Liam spoke about his job.

"You'd have a shower running for me?" Liam asked, as Millie replied: "Yeah, I'll do whatever you want me to do. A shower, a bath ready for ya."

"I don't like baths," Liam quickly blurted out, prompting Millie to say: "You don't like baths? What, not even a bath with me?"

"With you, yeah," he then said as she continued: "Well, when we move in together...."

Things are definitely moving quickly between these two.
