Love Island fury as fans blast final dumping a 'fix' with Kai and Sanam at risk

The Islanders were tasked with choosing which couples they thought were least compatible and ITV viewers were not happy with their decisions.

Love Island fans watched on as the remaining couples discussed who they were going to pick but their final decisions were not shown.

At the end of Friday's episode, it was revealed both Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall and Will Young and Jessie Wynter received two votes each while Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan bagged just one vote.

In a move that angered Love Island viewers, the three couples were told they were at risk of being dumped.

Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga as well as Tom Clare and Samie Elishi are safe from the final eviction.

One angry viewer tweeted: "How can Kai and Sanam be vulnerable when the other two couples got two votes each? What a fix man #LoveIsland," while another wrote: "I don't understand how having one vote makes them as vulnerable as the couples with 2 votes. Fix! #loveisland."

A third said: "How are they criticising Kai and Sanam for not turning their heads- surely that proves their compatibility?? #loveisland," and another added: "Tanya thinks Kai and Sanam aren’t compatible bc they HAVENT argued??? Make it make sense #loveIsland."

"The fact Tanya and Shaq got no votes is a complete crock of s**t #loveIsland," another frustrated fan vented.

Someone else questioned: "How did Shaq and Tanya get no votes?!?! #loveisland."

Love Island fans have speculated that Tanya and Shaq were behind Kai and Sanam's one vote.

Meanwhile, Will and Jessie admitted to Lana and Ron that they had voted for him with the latter couple revealing that they too had repaid the favour.

Elsewhere, in Friday's episode, Jessie asked Will to be her boyfriend after they enjoyed their final date together.

Reflecting on her journey with Will, she told him: “I’ve had the best time here with you, I didn’t think I’d meet someone that I’d fall in love with so hard. You’ve been so supportive of me the whole way through, I want you to know how special you are to me.”

The farmer said yes before admitting he was feeling emotional over Jessie's kind words.

Love Island continues on ITV2 on Sunday at 9pm.
