Love Island fans think Millie will get revenge on Liam by snatching £50k prize

Love Island viewers have come up with a theory about why Millie Court decided to forgive Liam Reardon.

The couple had been going strong until Liam went into Casa Amor and his head was turned by Lillie Haynes, with Millie left devastated when she found out they'd kissed.

But fans of the ITV2 show were left surprised when she decided to recouple with him and they seem to be back on track.

And some think they've worked out why she's decided to move on — because she's planning revenge.

Some viewers have taken to Twitter to theorise that Millie is using Liam to win the show.

But when it comes to the £50,000 cash prize, they think she will keep it all for herself and not share it with Liam to get him back for what he did to her.

One viewer tweeted: "Imagine though…. Millie and Liam make it all the way to the final…. They win, and she takes the entire 50k leaving him with nothing."

"I hope Millie is secretly stringing Liam along to win the money and then steal it all," another fan agreed.

A third posted: "Millie should take Liam back, win Love Island 2021, steal the prize money in the final and then bin him off."

"Millie is staying with Liam so she can steal the money at the end," a fourth wrote.

Another said: "It's #LoveIsland final. Millie's gradually forgiven Liam, taken him back, they've said the L word & melted the nation's Red hearts.

"They narrowly win the public vote. Everyone's sobbing. Liam splits the money, Millie smiles & steals it - this was her plan all along! Peace is restored."

Liam had shared multiple kisses with Lillie in Casa Amor.

He returned to the villa alone and recoupled with Millie, but Lillie later revealed the extent of his infidelity.

Millie told him that she saw no future with him after his betrayal, but he later declared his love for her in a dramatic speech.

Liam told her he's "never felt this way" and called her a "potential soulmate".

He said: "I didn't expect to come to Love Island and find a potential soulmate so early on but I’ve found that and so much more in you.

She shocked everyone when she decided to couple up with him again (ITV)

"I've never been one to have boxes that need ticking, it's all about how someone makes me feel. I've never felt this way before."

Millie called his big gesture a "step in the right direction" and viewers were baffled when she decided to couple up with him again in the latest recoupling.

"The speech tonight - I would be lying if I said it didn't make me smile," she said. "The boy I'd like to couple with is Liam."

*Love Island airs weekdays and Sundays at 9pm on ITV2.
