Love Island couple to be dumped from the villa in twist after Tanyel Revan's exit

One Love Island couple is at risk of being dumped from the villa after Tanyel Revan's exit.

At the end of tonight's episode, it was confirmed that one couple will be saying goodbye to the ITV2's South African villa soon after a public vote opened, where people at home were asked to vote for the most compatible couple. Iain Stirling has confirmed that the couples who receive the lowest vote will be at risk of leaving the show.

It comes following hair stylist Tanyel's exit from the ITV2 villa in a brutal dumping twist.

On tonight's episode, the group enjoyed a special date night all together - as the boys cooked for the girls.

However, there was soon friction between Shaq and Ron, when the financial analyst refused to get involved in the washing up after they all cooked the meal together. An unimpressed Shaq stormed over and ordered Ron to help out.

The drama seems far from over though, as Tanya confirmed she was going to talk to Shaq about it all, whilst Olivia got involved too and told Lana and Ron it was unfair how Shaq had behaved - as tensions rise in the villa.

Following Tanyel's exit, she admitted she thought it would be her time, before Jordan chose to save Ellie.

"Going into the fire pit, I just had a weird feeling that I was going to be leaving the Villa. I like Jordan as a person, but I knew that if he had chosen to couple up with me, I’d have been forcing it. I knew there was no spark," she admitted.

"I was expecting him to pick Ellie. She’d given him more time and I didn’t. I think he knew in his heart that I was making an effort just for the sake of it. I wanted to be open and give it a go butI think he knew that I didn’t fancy him."

Despite not finding love on the show, Tanyel insists she is glad she took part.

She said: "I’m so glad I did it. I have no regrets. It’s made me realise how direct and honest I am. If I’ve got an issue, I’ll just say it straight. Yeah I would, 100% recommend Love island to a friend. I’m so glad I’ve had this experience. It teaches you a lot about yourself. I would say it was the most exciting experience. It’s so fun. You just need to go in and enjoy yourself."
