It might not be paradise but that didn’t stop two former Love Island stars visiting Hamilton last weekend.
Season six contestants Biggs Chris, of Glasgow, and stunning Geordie lass Rebecca Gormley popped in for a bite to eat at none other than the town’s Pepe’s Peri Peri.
The pair, who recently confirmed they are now a couple, stopped by at the Hamilton franchise for a quick meal where restaurant owner Mr Ali was on hand to welcome the reality television stars.
Mr Ali told the Advertiser: “We were delighted to welcome Biggs and Rebecca to the restaurant last weekend.
“They are a cracking couple and we wish them all the best.”
Pepe’s Peri Peri, on Mill Road, is no stranger to serving Love Island celebrities, with season five contestant Anton Danyluk of Airdrie a regular at the popular eaterie.
They’ve also served top Scots comic Gary Faulds, as well as a host of professional football players and ex-players including locals Kenny Miller and James McFadden since opening just over a year ago.
Due to current guidelines the restaurant is only open until 6pm, but the takeaway and delivery service is still available daily from 6pm to 10.30pm.
