Love Island Australia star baffles viewers as he admits he’s a ‘kangatarian’

Love Island Australia star Justin baffled viewers during Monday's episode when he explained his bizarre diet.

He was chatting to Millie, who he is currently coupled up with on the show, about her love of animals.

Vet nursing student Millie revealed she was an "animal warrior person", and said: "I’ll see a pigeon that’s struggling, and I’ll catch it and take it to the vet".

Justin replied: "That’s really good though, I love that. That’s beautiful."

Millie continued: Yeah? I don’t know, some people find it a bit weird when I’m running around Manly trying to catch a pigeon in a box.’

Justin asked Millie if she was vegan, and she explained she was pescatarian, which is when Justin dropped him bombshell and informed her he was a "kangatarian".

This means he only ate kangaroo meat, which is not unusual in Australia, but baffled English viewers.

One tweeted: "is kangatarian a thing wtf #loveisland #loveislandAUS ".

"Did he just say Kangatarian?? #LoveIslandAUS #LoveIsland " questioned another.

"You know you’re watching Love Island Australia when someone says they’re a KANGATARIAN #LoveIsland " quipped a third.

"I have NEVER BEFORE heard the word kangaterian !" declared a fourth.

Meanwhile, viewers were horrified during the first episode when the first two boys to enter the villa had absolutely no girls interested in them.

Josh, Justin and Charlie all marched into the villa and stood in front of the five new girls, who were supposed to step forward if they fancied the boy.

No one stepped forward for any of the hunks, and viewers were mortified for them - until finally Natasha stepped forward for Charlie.
