Love cheat Glaswegian men among worst in UK at playing away on Valentine's Day

Glasgwegian men are among the worst in the UK for cheating on their girlfriends on .

New research reveals that 19 per cent of women discovered their partners had been unfaithful on what's supposed to be the most romantic day of the year.

The data also found that one in 10 Glasgow girls ended their relationship on the big day, preferring to hang out with friends.

Nationally one in three millennial women will choose mates over dates this February the 14th, believing it's lost its romance.

Even loved up couples confessed they don't celebrate the occasion, with a fifth of women saying they have lied, or would lie, to their partner about working late so they can go for drink with the girls.

A further 39 per cent even admitted to hating Valentine's Day.

The poll of 2,000 women,commissioned by Tequila Rose, placed Glasgow in the number seven spot of the UK's most heartbreaking cities, ahead of Birmingham, Southampton and Liverpool.
