Love Below Deck? You Have To Check Out BINGE’s New Reality Series Billion Dollar Playground

Are you a fan of reality shows like Below Deck? You know, the ones that showcase the bonkers demands of the world’s richest people along with the team who do everything within their power to make it happen. If this kind of programme is your bread and butter, then you need to tune in to BINGE’s latest brand-spankin new reality show, Billion Dollar Playground.

Billion Dollar Playground follows a bunch of professionals in the luxury service industry who jump from one magnificent property to another to cater to the every whim of their incredibly wealthy guests — no matter how bananas the request is.

Although the guests and their demands are entertaining enough, the real tea lies within the cast. You see, every workplace has slowly simmering beef under the surface, but when you add the extra stress of taxing clients and challenging requirements, all the drama comes to the surface.

In the first episode, we meet Jasmin. She’s a concierge and the newest member of the team. However, with a heap of experience under her belt, she immediately ruffles the feathers of fellow concierge Heaven when she’s appointed to the Lead Concierge position, making for some tension-filled drama right off the bat.

“I’m not someone who feels comfortable with confrontation, so that whole experience was definitely uncomfortable for me,” Jasmin admits to PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“I’ve always preferred to keep things calm and smooth, but the reality is that dealing with different personalities is part of the job, especially in a high-stakes environment like this. Coming into Billion Dollar Playground as the new girl, it was tough because I was stepping into an established team dynamic, navigating different leadership styles. It wasn’t easy, but it also pushed me to adapt, stay professional, and show that I belonged.”

For Heaven — who admittedly relished in being the original lead concierge, Salvetore‘s number two gal — Jasmin’s addition was a bit of a “curveball”.

“It threw me for a second, but I’ve learned to welcome the unknown, especially in this line of work. Jasmine was definitely spicy right out of the gate, which threw a bit of a curveball, but like any addition, sometimes you like it, sometimes it doesn’t quite hit the mark; but it keeps things entertaining for sure.”

Despite the tensions of the Billion Dollar Playground workplace, Heaven doesn’t have any regrets in signing on to the ground-breaking reality show.

“When life gets too predictable, it stops being interesting. It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in — I’m addicted to the exciting, the unusual, the unbelievable, hence the work I do. To add cameras and be on a show like this is unique, it’s new, and I knew it would bring something unexpected. I like that,” she explains.

“Maybe something will come my way that I’ve never dreamt of. I think some of the best things in life come from the moments we couldn’t have planned — and I’m open to all of it.”

For the wealthy guests staying in the gorgeous Luxico homes featured on the show, one of the most important elements is the food. Thankfully, their every mouth-watering whim is catered to by brothers and chef George and Matt.

Although the culinary brothers are an important part of the whole operation, they admit they were hesitant to appear on a reality show.

“Initially, I said no to this gig four times,” George shares.

“At the time, I had been cooking for 13 years in the highest-level kitchens around the world, and I was not about to tarnish my hard-built reputation over these years to a reality TV show.”

After hearing a bit more about the show and its unique format, they decided it was worth the risk and were excited to showcase their abilities and the bonkers reality of their profession.

“The best thing — I get to share rooms with people who are now clients, that I once never dreamed would be a possibility. Cooking is my key to the world,” George shares.

And the worst?

“The volatility in hours,” Matt admits.

“Sometimes we can work from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, and sometimes we just do a five-hour shift. It changes day to day.”

Billion Dollar Playground will be available to stream on BINGE from Tuesday, May 13.
