Lottie Tomlinson says this is the first 'happy Mother's Day' since her mum died 6 years ago

Lottie Tomlinson has shared an emotional tribute to her late mother Johannah, six years after she tragically died following a battle with leukaemia at the age of 43.

Lottie, who became a parent herself back in August, said the day has finally been "a happy one" as she shared a video of herself lovingly cradling her baby son Lucky.

In the video, the 24-year-old stood on the beach during a recent family holiday to the Maldives with her son and boyfriend Lewis Burton.

Captioning the clip, Lottie wrote: "The first time in 6 years this day is a happy one, thanks to you my Lucky.

"Thank you for making me a Mum and making my dreams come true sending so much love to anyone who finds today hard."

Lottie's friends, family and fans took the comments to offer their support and well wishes, with her sister Daisy Tomlinson writing a row of red heart emojis.

Lottie's boyfriend Lewis wrote: "You’re an amazing mum," while model Nicola Hughes commented: "So special."

One fan wrote: "So happy for you. Sorry that your mamma couldn’t be there to celebrate it with you but never forget that she is with you in spirit.

"She has left a little piece of herself in all of her children and she would be so incredibly happy with how you guys carry on her soul."

"Happy mother's day Lottie, you deserve all the love xx," another penned. A third fan added: "Omg that video is just beautiful. So much love."

Lottie also took to her Instagram Story to share a card she received from Lucky.

"Happy Mother's Day, thank you for everything you do for me. Sorry I cry every time you leave me I just love you so much," the card read.

Lottie's sister Daisy had also sent her a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card which said: "So proud of you for blossoming into the most amazing mama.

"I love you and Lucky more than anything. Happy first mother's day beautiful girl."

Lottie also shared a series of snaps of her own mum.

Alongside one picture, she said: "Happy Mother's Day to my angel. Thank you for sending me my baby boy, and for showing me the kind of Mum I want to be.

"Forever grateful for our love."

In one of the pictures, Johannah held onto Lottie when she was a baby and sweetly kissed the top of her daughter's head.

Sister Daisy also shared a heartbreaking tribute to her late mum, writing: "This month was just for you. Your first baby launched his own documentary worldwide! Your girls turn 19!

"Your eldest daughter celebrates her first mother's day and you would be turning 50! I just know you'd look your best ever. No one would believe it.

"I could so easily get angry at the world that you aren’t here earth-side to celebrate each of those milestones with us but it’s not what you would want of me.

"Therefore i’ll continue to spend these days with your love and energy surrounding me."

She added: "Thank you Mama, for making me realise there is no end to certain loves. You taught me the meaning of eternal and i’ve never forgotten it since."
